Firefighter Falls From Roof While Battling Blaze In Bensalem
BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities say a firefighter was injured while battling a house fire in Bensalem, Bucks County.
Flames broke out shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday at a home along the 1100 block of Tennis Avenue.
Crews arrived to heavy fire on the second floor.
Officials say a firefighter was battling the blaze when he fell from the roof of the home.
He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The fire was placed under control in less than an hour.
There were no reports of any other injuries.
It was not immediately clear what caused the firefighter to fall.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
