Phillies Phantastic Auction Raises $130,000

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The fourth-annual Phillies Phantastic Auction generated over $130,000 for charity.

The event gave fans the chance to bid on 50 unique Phillies experiences.

"Thanks to incredible fan support, along with the partnership with SportsRadio 94 WIP, the fourth annual Phantastic Auction raised over $130,000 for Phillies Charities, Inc. and the Phillies Phestival, which benefits the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association," said Dave Buck, Phillies Senior Vice President, Marketing and Advertising Sales. "The Phillies take pride in giving back to the community as well as being able to offer unique opportunities for our fans."

The net proceeds went to Phillies Charities, Inc., a charitable Delaware Valley organization serving a variety of needs. A portion of the proceeds will be contributed to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association as part of the Phillies Phestival on June 9, 2016.
