Phillies Roll Out New 'Yoga Class' Promotion Ahead Of Saturday's Game

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Citizens Bank Park will become a sea of tranquility this Saturday before the rabid fan base arrives for an afternoon match-up between the red-hot Phillies and Atlanta Braves.

Matt Kessler of the Phillies has more about the first ever yoga class that's being held this Saturday morning on the outfield grass.

"Everyone will collect a Phillies yoga mat once they enter the field. Amanda Jacobs and her staff at Maha Yoga studios in Center City will run the actual yoga section for 60 minutes."

"So I believe they're gonna set me up with a microphone and there's gonna be a sound system, but I've never had to teach with a microphone so that'll be a little bit different."

Over 1,000 people have signed up, but Amanda says she's got it all worked out.

"We'll find what we call cow pose. There's a little arch to the back a little tipping of the low back and a little glance up toward the sky. Then there's the cat pose."

Sixty minute session participants can take advantage of special offers at the Xfinity Live game from 11-1 p.m. The $50 package includes a ticket to the game starting at 3:05 p.m.
