Still gained national attention when he spoke out about his daughter's tough and inspirational cancer battle. The former Bengals defensive tackle told People Magazine the couple initially halted their wedding plans after learning about Leah's life-threatening condition two years ago.

Leah was diagnosed with stage-4 neuroblastoma, a rare cancer that is typically found in the adrenal glands. During her battle, Leah captured the hearts of millions. In 2015, Still announced that his daughter was in remission.

"When I saw [Leah] even before the wedding, I got emotional. We'd been waiting for this moment for a long time," Still told People.
