Caln Police Seek Man For Attempted Luring Of 16-Year-Old
CALN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- The Caln Township Police Department says that on Wednesday afternoon, a man attempted to lure a 16-year-old child into his van.
Police describe the man as a heavy set, black male in his late 20's with medium length dreadlocks. According to officials, the man was driving a Dodge Ram cargo van with a company logo on it and was believed to be a traveling salesman.
Officials say the man was wearing a royal blue shirt, also believed to have the company logo on it.
Police say the incident took place in a residential neighborhood and urge anyone with information to contact them at 610-383-7000.
Officials in Caln Township want to remind residents that all solicitors in the township must have a permit for that type of activity and this business was not permitted.
