Sam Bradford Releases Statement On Return To Eagles

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sam Bradford released a statement on his return to the Eagles on Monday, reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"I'm excited to be back on the field today with my teammates and coaches. The business-side of football is sometimes a necessary consideration. My attention and efforts are focused on the participation in and preparation for a championship season: I am committed to my teammates and the Eagles organization for nothing less."

Bradford was upset with the Eagles' decision to trade-up to pick No. 2 and select quarterback Carson Wentz. After missing team workouts for two weeks, Bradford returned on Monday.
