3 On Your Side: Recall Roundup

By Jim Donovan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There could be dangerous products in and around your home, Jim Donovan has information you need in this week's 3 On Your Side's Recall Roundup.

First up, 1.2 million Rival brand electric water kettles are being recalled. The heating element can fail posing a shock and burn hazard.

There have been 80 complaints so far, and seven people have been injured.

The kettles were sold at Walmart stores.

Model numbers WK8283CU and WK8283CUY are printed on a label on the underside.

Stop using these kettles and return them to any Walmart store for a refund.

SunOpta is recalling a limited number of sunflower kernel products for potential listeria contamination. The items affected are Planters Sunflower Kernels and Dakota's Best Biggy's roasted and salted kernels.

The products were sent to distribution centers in Illinois and north Dakota and may have been redistributed to other states nationwide.

And more listeria concerns, time to check your freezer, again. A recall from last week has now been expanded. CRF is recalling bags of frozen fruits and vegetables due to a potential threat of listeria.

This now includes approximately 358 consumer products sold under 42 separate brands sold at stores like Trader Joe's, Walmart and Costco.
