Crews Respond To Water Main Break In Southwest Philadelphia

By Dan Wing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Crews are dealing with a water main break in Southwest Philadelphia this morning that may have been caused by a car crash in the area.

A sinkhole formed at 63rd Street and Eastwick Avenue, which is where a car crashed into a fire hydrant around 6 a.m. That was followed by the broken water main, which flooded the street.

Traffic is being detoured around the area while crews work to fix the situation.
