Porter: I'll Take Over 3.5 Carson Wentz Starts

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sam Bradford (maybe), Chase Daniel, and Carson Wentz. That's what the Eagles' quarterback depth chart looks like.

But here's the catch: Bradford is upset. He wants to be traded. And he's not participating in voluntary workouts. So while Bradford was the lock to start Week 1 at one point, that's no longer the case.

Either way, the most intriguing player of the three is No. 2 overall pick Wentz and everyone is anticipating his debut.

Bovada LV lists Wentz's over/under for starts at 3.5.

To me, the only way Wentz does not start four games is if Bradford does not get traded, he does not hold out, he plays well, he does not get hurt, and the Eagles win games.

That scenario seems fairly unlikely. Plus, Philly will be clamoring for Wentz all season long and the Eagles are known for appeasing their fan base, especially of late.

I'll take the over.
