Philadelphia Man Arrested For Robbing Same Two Banks He Robbed Five Years Earlier
CAMDEN, Nj. (CBS) -- The Department of Justice announced that a Philadelphia man has been sentenced to 71 months in prison for robbing two banks in the region. Authorities added that he robbed the same two banks and was previously incarcerated for it.
Keith Ney, 54, robbed a Citizens Bank in Philadelphia and a Cape Bank in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was arrested, jailed and released in 2015 for those robberies.
Officials say that after his release, he robbed the same banks again.
Authorities say that after being released in April of 2015, Ney robbed the same Citizens Bank that he did in 2010.
After robbing the Citizens Bank on Market Street, officials say Ney took a bus to Atlantic City and once again robbed the Cape Bank that he did in 2010.
Ney was immediately spotted by authorities after the incident and was taken into custody.
