Report: Broncos Say Bradford Price Too High
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sam Bradford reportedly wants out of Philadelphia, but the Eagles aren't budging.
According to Denver Broncos reporter Mike Klis, a "prominent" NFL source tells him the Broncos inquired about Bradford but the asking price was "too high."
After re-signing Bradford this offseason to a two-year, $35 million deal with $22 million guaranteed, the Eagles also signed QB Chase Daniel ($12 million guaranteed) and then traded up to pick No. 2 in Thursday's draft to presumably draft rookie QB Carson Wentz.
Bradford's agent, Tom Condon, says the Eagles' quarterback wants be in the long-term plans of a franchise.
