Ike Reese: 'Sam Bradford Is Delusional'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Ike Reese was fired up on Tuesday morning.

Just five days after the Eagles moved up to pick No. 2 in the NFL Draft, likely to take quarterback Carson Wentz, Sam Bradford reportedly wants to be traded. Bradford's agent, Tom Condon, says his client wants to be somewhere long-term.

With Jody McDonald in for Michael Barkann on Tuesday's 94WIP Mike & Ike Show, Reese -- a former Eagles Pro Bowl linebacker -- went off.

"He wants a commitment from teams," Reese said. "So any team, whether it's here, Denver, or anywhere else he has to go out there and prove that he can be that caliber of player before they commit to him long-term. Any way you slice it, he's not getting a long-term deal without getting out there for 16 games and proving that he can be anything better than a 20 to 30 second quarterback in this league. Like, he's not getting that deal until he actually has the season."

"But he thinks he has a better chance of getting that somewhere else than he does here because they're going to go to Wentz eventually," McDonald replied. "He wants a clearer path."

"I don't care what he thinks," Reese said. "He's clearly delusional."
