Food Truck Review: No. 34

MUCHO BUENO

Full disclosure here. This popular taco truck spends every Thursday night at the Conshohocken Brewing Co. (739 East Elm St. in Conshy), a brewery I own a piece of. So my opinion may be colored by the fact that I've enjoyed their food with a nice IPA or two over the years.

That stipulated, it's pretty damned good. They move all over town, so you don't need to get to Conshy to enjoy them. Follow their path on Twitter at @EatMuchoBueno.

And try the Lola sandwich. It's a mix of chopped chorizo sausage, nacho cheese sauce, pickled onions, sweet potato and cole slaw on a hoagie roll. In reality, it tastes like a fun midnight raid on the fridge. A big sandwich, it will set you back $10.

The tacos are $4 each or 3 for $10. That's a little pricey compared to some of the taco trucks we've sampled. But they're delicious. You can mix and match among chicken, chorizo, pulled pork (their best by my estimation) or sweet potato for you vegetarians. They're topped with salsa, pickled onions, and aji sour cream on a soft corn tortilla.

Score: 82/100
