Report: Bradford Wants Out, Will Not Show Up To Off-Season Program

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There have been conflicting reports on Sam Bradford's desire to be a Philadelphia Eagles following their blockbuster trade.

However, ESPN's Adam Schefter is the most credible football reporter out there, and according to him Bradford does indeed want to be traded.

Originally, Jason Cole of BleacherReport.com reported Bradford will "likely" ask for a trade, while Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson reported on Monday that Bradford will not ask for a trade.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport confirmed Schefter's report, also stating the Eagles were "blindsided" by Bradford's trade request.

Eagles vice president of personnel Howie Roseman addressed the situation on Monday via PhiladelphiaEagles.com.

"I want to reiterate our support for Sam Bradford and go back to our statements last week, that Sam is our starting quarterback," Roseman said. "His agent and Sam know how we feel about him. These workouts are voluntary. We look forward to seeing Sam again in the near future."

The Eagles re-signed Bradford to a two-year contract worth $22 million guaranteed this offseason. Now, after they acquired the No. 2 overall pick from the Cleveland Browns to draft a quarterback, Bradford's departure seems inevitable.
