16-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized After Suffering Graze Wound To The Ear

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 16-year-old girl was hospitalized on Monday night after suffering a graze wound to the ear.

The Philadelphia Police announced that around 9:23 p.m., the girl was shot in a rear alley in Northeast Philadelphia. Police say it took place on the 800 block of Sanger street.

Officials say the girl was transported to St. Christopher's Hospital by medical personnel. She was placed in stable condition.

Police say no weapon was recovered and no arrest has been made at this time.
