Driver Killed In Rollover Crash In Millville, New Jersey

MILLVILLE, N.J. (CBS/AP) -- Police say a woman was killed overnight when she was ejected from her vehicle after her SUV overturned along the highway in Cumberland County, New Jersey.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday along Route 55 in Millville.

Police say the woman, who was not identified, was driving southbound when she drifted to the right side of the road, then across both traffic lanes and overturned the vehicle in the median.

Authorities say she was ejected from the SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation showed she was not wearing a seatbelt.

Police say there were no other passengers in the SUV and no one else was injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Route 55 northbound remained closed while authorities investigated the accident.
