Skeletal Remains Found In Pennsauken Township

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (CBS) – Skeletal remains were found along the Cooper River in Pennsauken, according to Pennsauken Township police.

Authorities say around 11:30 this morning officials responded to the 2900 block of Admiral Wilson Boulevard, where the discovery was made.

It is unknown if the remains are human or animal and investigators could not confirm who or how they were found.

Police have since cleared the scene but the investigation is ongoing.
