PIFA Street Fair Brings High-Flying Fun To Broad Street

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts Street Fair was the grand finale to 16 days of artistic performances.
"It really is a love letter to Philadelphia. It's almost like a signature on that love letter," said Ed Cambrin, executive Vice President of the Kimmel Center.
Seven blocks of Broad Street were closed and transformed into a carnival atmosphere with streets turned into beaches, filled with pianos or gardens with street performers.
"A waterfall in front of the Academy of music and a garden with the pond and koi fish; artists on trampolines with skateboard doing just amazing stuff," said Cambrin.
"There's a zip line in the middle of Broad Street and people are getting on it and flying across the street, I'm thinking about doing it," said one woman in attendance.
