10 NFL Officials: Eagles Second Most Likely To Trade Into Top-Five

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles have the eighth overall pick this month's NFL draft, but no one knows what they'll do with the pick.

While debate is rampant over who they will and should take at No. 8, some believe the Eagles will look to trade down and acquire the second-round pick that they don't have.

However, according MMQB.SI.com's Peter King, 10 NFL officials believe the Eagles are the second most likely team to trade up into the top-five. Four of the officials told King the L.A. Rams are the most likely team to trade into the top-five, but three others officials said it's the Eagles.

King continued to offer his own input.

"The Eagles and a quarterback?" King wrote. "Don't dismiss it."

If the Eagles do trade into the top-five, the thought process would be to draft their future franchise QB. The Eagles have been actively looking at the top quarterback prospects the last few weeks from Carson Wentz, to Jared Goff, to Paxton Lynch, and others.

All eyes will be on Howie Roseman, as the Eagles are approaching a very critical draft.
