Flights From Philly To Brussels Resume In Summer, With Changes

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - American Airlines flights from Philadelphia to Brussels, Belgium will resume in June.

The flights were suspended last month after the deadly terrorist bombing at the airport, but the airport has re-opened so the flights will resume June 14th, according to American Airlines spokeswoman Victoria Lupica.

She says the service had been six days a week, year round, but now the flights to and from Brussels will be for summer season only, because of demand:

"They'll conclude this year on August 21st, then we'll resume those summer service flights in May of 2017."

She says flights will be every day but Tuesday during Europe's busy summer season.
