Police: Intruders Assault And Bound 92-Year-Old Woman While Ransacking Home

EWING, N.J., (CBS) -- Police in Ewing, N.J. are investigating after they say two males broke into the home of a 92-year-old woman, bound her and robbed her.

According to police, the incident took place on Tuesday morning around 10:18 a.m. on Manor Drive.

Police responded to the scene and located the woman who was bound at the time she was found. Authorities searched the home for intruders, but were unable to locate any.

Officials say that sometime over the night, two men ransacked the woman's home and assaulted her causing physical injuries.

The victim was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment.
