Countries Largest Carrier Suspends Travel To And From Brussels

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – In the wake of the recent terror attacks in Belgium, American Airlines, the largest carrier in the United States, has suspended all flights to and from Brussels until Thursday, April 7, according to officials.

According to a company spokesman, customers booked on cancelled flights, for travel from March 22 through April 15, are being re-accommodated through other airports in the region.

American has issued a travel policy for customers with reservations to/from Brussels who wish to change their itineraries.

Customers with flights to or from Brussels may use aa.com or call the company's reservations desk at 1-800-433-7300 to get the latest information. Customers currently in Belgium, may call (+32)-070-300-300.

In a statement the company extended their deepest sympathies and condolences to those affected by that day's tragic events.
