1 Dead, Several Injured In Crash On I-95 In South Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A nasty multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in South Philadelphia left one dead, several others hurt and shut down a portion of the highway for hours.
State Police say the crash happened around 10:30 last night at Mile Marker 18, on the Northbound side of 95 near the Broad Street entrance.
Police say a man was pronounced dead on scene. Four others were taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
Police do not believe that weather played a factor, but they are still investigating the accident.
