Over 250 Acres Burn In Burlington County Forest

WOODLAND TWP., N.J. (CBS) – Crews continue battling a massive forest fire in Woodland Township, Burlington County.

The blaze began around 5:50 p.m. Thursday at the Penn State Forest.

More than 250 acres have burned so far, but crews are keeping the blaze inside the perimeter, officials say.

So far there is no damage to any homes, but officials say smoke could impact drivers in the area.

No injuries have been reported.

Crews are expected to continue working throughout the overnight hours.
