Fire Forces Residents From Apartment Complex In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Several people were forced out of their homes and into the cold and rain overnight after fire ripped through an apartment complex in North Philadelphia.

Flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at Harrison Plaza in the 1300 block of North 10th Street.

The building is owned by the Philadelphia Housing Authority.

There were no reports of injuries, but several units sustained smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
