Report: Eagles Shake Up Scouting Department Days Before Combine

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Eagles have made another curious decision.

Just four days before the start of the NFL combine, according to footballscoop.com, the Eagles have "parted ways" with college scouting coordinator Matt Lindsey and hired former Cleveland Browns scout Brendan Donovan. The team has yet to announce the changes.

According to the Eagles' website, Lindsey began his tenure with the franchise as a college scouting coordinator in 2014 and assisted in regards to the Eagles' scouting effort for the NFL Combine, which is from February 23rd to 29th this year.

Jeffrey Lurie, on the day he announced the hiring of Doug Pederson, named Tom Donahoe as the team's senior director of player personnel. Lurie also named Howie Roseman as the executive vice president of football operations.
