Miller: Bernie Sanders Taps In To The Left's Discontent With Hillary Clinton

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Stephen Miller, a writer for National Review, discussed his latest piece with Chris Stigall on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT about the media's obsession with Bernie Sanders.

Miller said the Democratic base is so unhappy with Hillary Clinton they will accept any alternative choice.

"They have this far left of the base that really does not like Hillary Clinton. They don't like what she stands for. They don't like she voted yes on Iraq. They don't like that she is Wall Street's highest receiving of donations in history. All they needed was a messenger to come along to plug in. It doesn't matter how crazy or old or preposterous that person is, and that's Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders has been in government for 30 years. He's not an outsider. He's only had three bills passed into law and one of them is renaming a post office. What you're seeing is a message trying to attach itself for a messenger."
