Person Struck, Killed While Crawling Across Street In Northeast Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a man is dead after he was struck by a car Sunday night in Northeast Philadelphia.

This happened at 9 p.m. in the Bustleton section of the city.

Police say a minivan traveling northbound on Bustleton Avenue struck the 41-year-old victim while he was crawling across the street to retrieve a shoe.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time.
