Report: 'Jerry Colangelo Has To Sign Off' On All Basketball Moves
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It looks like new Philadelphia 76ers chairman Jerry Colangelo does have final.
According to The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski, Colangelo "has to sign off on organizational moves involving basketball operations."
This information comes as a supplementary piece of information to Wojnarowski reporting the Sixers have promoted Delaware 87ers general manager Brandon Williams to a chief of staff. Williams, according to Wojnarowski, will report directly to Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie.
Williams, 40, previously served eight seasons in the NBA's League Office. Most recently, Williams served as the league's associate vice president of basketball operations.
