All-Time Top 5 Philly Athletes Ideal For Wing Bowl
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Wing Bowl has already seen the likes of Matt Stairs chugging beers, Jason Kelce eating wings, and Bernie Parent hanging with the ladies.
So that got us thinking: If we could have any Philly athlete ever attend Wing Bowl, who would we want? Here are the top-five.
5. Chuck Bednarik
Wing Bowl is definitely a "man's" event and there's no Philly athlete more manly than "Concrete Charlie." The late-great Bednarik was one of the toughest Eagles' players ever -- a two-way player, an eight-time Pro Bowler, and two-time champion. The Hall Of Famer actually criticized the modern NFL player for not playing on both sides of the ball.
4. Dave Schultz
If Bednarik is the toughest Philadelphia athlete, Dave "The Hammer" Schultz is a close second. Schultz, the long-time Flyer and Stanley Cup champion, holds the NHL record for most penalty minutes in a single season. Perfect for Wing Bowl!

Iverson is probably the most electrifying athlete to ever play a professional sport in Philadelphia. His love for competition, alcohol, and gambling would mesh brilliantly with Wing Bowl. Could you imagine the ovation for A.I. at Wing Bowl 25?
2. Pat Burrell
Pat "The Bat" Burrell is one of the all-time party dudes to ever play a sport in Philly. Burrell, who was a key member of the Phillies' 2008 World Series team, was the star of that parade along with his dog Elvis. Burrell even mentioned the local bartenders in his Phillies Wall Of Fame speech! He's nicknamed "The Machine" for crying out loud!
