Spring Garden Residents Lose Water As Crews Repair Sinkhole
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Crews were called to the Spring Garden neighborhood of Philadelphia Sunday evening after a sinkhole developed.
The sinkhole formed on the 1600 block of North Street.
There was a water main break on the block earlier in the week. The Water Department is working to repair the hole.
A postal truck got stuck in the hole earlier in the evening.
The Water Department says people on the block will be without water until at least Monday morning.
