Passenger Hurt When Car Flips Over In Kensington; Driver Flees
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are searching for the driver who didn't stick around after a crash early Friday morning that left a woman injured.
The victim was strapped into the passenger seat when the driver of a minivan slammed into a parked car just before 4 a.m., causing it to flip over.
This happened near the intersection of Potter and B Streets in Kensington.
Police say instead of sticking around to help or call 9-1-1 after the accident, the driver ran off, leaving the injured woman trapped in the vehicle.
Accident investigators say the victim suffered only minor injuries. They are working to track down the driver.
