Congressman Mike McCaul: Terrorist Threat Is Growing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Congressman Mike McCaul, the Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security discussed his book, Failures of Imagination, on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT with Chris Stigall.
McCaul said the risk posed to Americans from terrorist attacks continues to grow and President Obama is not taking it seriously.
"The numbers don't lie. We're just seeing so much, so often now. Whether it's here in the United States, the arrests that we have, whether it's the 35,000 foreign fighters converging in Iraq and Syria from 120 different countries. This is a threat that's growing, not decreasing, even though the President in the State of the Union said it's not an existential threat to the United States. I don't know. Either he's not paying attention to his briefings or he's being completely disingenuous."
