Crews Continue To Work To Get Streets Plowed, Passable In Phila.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Streets Commissioner says crews have made significant progress in plowing and removing snow, but still have a few challenges.

Streets Commissioner Donald Carlton says his personnel are plagued by two big issues right now.

"Parked cars on certain corners, individuals trying to move their car when they shouldn't. And it's impeding our progress in some locations," said Carlton.

And, the second:

"Now, we're in a situation where people are putting snow back in the street and then they're getting called and saying, well, my street hasn't gotten plowed. But, the snow was put back into the street," said Carlton.

Carlton says he's sticking by the city's pledge to get streets plowed and passable by Wednesday.
