Montgomery County Police Detective Builds Backyard Ice Luge For His Kids
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. (CBS) -- It's a sport we're used to seeing in the Winter Olympics and definitely not around here.
Our Vittoria Woodill was in Montgomery County tonight, in a backyard that has something very special.
Right in the back of a Collegeville home, there's a homemade ice luge where kids are flying, boarding, and crashing all for kicks- and it's all thanks to dad.
Meet Dad, Walt Kerr, where by day he's a detective with the Lower Merion Police Department, but on snow days he's protecting his kids Daniel and Justin in a freezing fun way!
"It's something we do together. It's just about having a good time with the kids," he says. "That's what it's all about, having fun."
