Many Brave The Storm To Fight Off Cabin Fever

FOLCROFT, Pa. (CBS) - The snow's only been with us for two days, but a lot of people are already getting cabin fever.

The old adage says "where there's a will there's a way." And for many people, that will for food and fresh air is stronger than the snow Mother Nature threw our way.

So even during the snowstorm's peak, many braved the conditions for that all important Wawa run.

"I'm getting the Sunday Inquirer and a roll for myself," this man tells KYW Newsradio, "so I can have my scrambled eggs, because I ain't gonna get out this is it. We got dug out by two kids walking around the street and they should do more of that stuff."

"We don't feel like cooking, we're kind of just being lazy and taking advantage of not having to do anything," adds this Wawa customer. "I got a couple of quesadillas and some hot chicken soup."

Many of the people who made it out during the storm say they were not in dire need of anything except for a little time away from the people they were stuck in the house with.
