Sledders Take Advantage Of Storm On Art Museum Steps

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Lots of people gathered at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to go sledding.

It seems people will use almost anything as a sled to slide down Philadelphia's famous Art Museum steps.

"We've got a fair amount of trash can lids and cardboard boxes that don't seem to be working too well," one sledder told KYW Newsradio.

Another sledder noted the variety of sleds people were using.

"Definitely, yeah, there are some people with baking pans and some other flying saucer type things."

But what worked the best?

"But for the most part, it seems like tubes are doing pretty well," one sledder observed.

These young adults in their twenties were determined to relive their childhood during this storm.

"We just went to ACE hardware. Whatever was available was what we got, but I know from when I was a kid that tubes worked out the best."

But there was a price to pay.

"We did pop one and they're slowly deflating the other one."
