Eyewitnesses Help Police Catch Shooting Suspect In Center City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say a man was shot late Thursday night in Center City, and the shooter has been arrested thanks to some witnesses.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. at 15th and Chestnut Streets.
Police say multiple witnesses inside a nearby restaurant followed the shooter after the incident, guiding police over the phone to where the gunman was eventually arrested a few blocks away.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say the victim had narcotics on him, but no motive has been determined at this time.
