Opportunity Knocks Today At Job Fair In Bucks County

IVYLAND, Pa., (CBS) -- Job seekers will have a chance to meet with more than three dozen employers today at a job fair in Bucks County.
The job fair at Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland is hosted by Recruitment Queen, which serves jobseekers in and around Bucks County. Founder Jennifer Schultz says 41 employers will be on hand, looking to fill 400 jobs.
"If someone's been looking for a job, and they're getting frustrated by kind of getting stuck in that black hole of only applying online, this'll be a great opportunity for them to see that there are jobs out there, and there are employers who really are ready to hire today. In some cases, some are very desperate to hire," said Schultz.
There'll also be seminars, including one on starting your own business, presented by an economic development specialist from the Small Business Administration. The job fair runs today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
