Police Seek To ID Woman's Remains Found In Ridley Creek State Park In Delaware County

By Kristen Johanson

MEDIA, Pa., (CBS) -- It's been more than two weeks since a hiker found skeletal remains in Ridley Creek State Park in Delaware County. Authorities are still trying to identify the remains.

Monday they released more clues, in hopes the public can help pinpoint who the female is.

The Pennsylvania State Police released photos of three rings found in the clothes of a female found in Ridley Creek State Park on New Year's Day.

The remains were discovered by a hiker, off a main park trail and officials believe they are of a white female in her late teens to 20's.

One is an Irish Claddagh ring, the other has an engraving and the third has a green stone.
