350 Counterfeit Fitbits Seized At Port Of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- They sure look like Fitbits, but these wrist-worn fitness trackers couldn't fool customs agents.

350 fake Fitbits were seized this week from a shipment from Hong Kong.

It arrived at the Port of Philadelphia in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Customs and Border Protection officials say they worked with the maker of the actual device to sideline the counterfeit items, which were in retail-ready packaging and in multiple colors -- just like the real thing.

If they had been authentic Fitbits, they'd be worth about $3,500.
