A New Year Brings New Changes To City Hall

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The new year brings a new mayor to Philadelphia City Hall.

After eight years in office, Mayor Michael Nutter is packing boxes and preparing for life out of office. As we welcomed a new year at midnight, Mayor Nutter in a tweet thanked the city for his years in office, wishing the city a happy and healthy new year.

On Monday, Mayor-elect Jim Kenney takes over as the 99th Mayor of Philadelphia. Kenney says poverty, and improving the relationship between African-Americans and police remain issues on the top of his to-do list.
