SEPTA Bus Routes Returning To 69th Street Terminal Following Renovations

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) --  SEPTA will start off 2016 by welcoming buses back to their boarding locations at the 69th Street Transportation Center's West Terminal, officials announced Wednesday.

Bus routes 104, 109, 110, 111, 112, 120 and 126 will be back at their normal boarding areas on Monday, January 4, 2016.

The routes were temporarily relocated for renovations to pedestrian ramps and terminal platforms.

Security cameras, LED lighting and green roofs were also added to the 105-year-old terminal, that serves SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line, Norristown High Speed Line, trolley Routes 101 and 102 and 18 bus routes.

The $19.6 million improvement project is part of SEPTA's "Rebuilding for the Future" capital program.
