Police: 1 Dead Following Shooting In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a man has died following a shooting Monday in North Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Police say it happened at about 3:01 p.m. at the 500 block of W. Huntingdon Street.

According to police, a 27-year-old man was shot twice in the chest.  Police say he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No weapon has been recovered and no arrest has been made, according to police.

An investigation is underway.
