Lehigh Valley Braces For First Taste Of Winter
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- The Lehigh Valley is bracing for the first winter storm of the season.
CBS 3's Diana Rocco traveled there to get a look at preparations already underway there with full salt barns and trucks parked and at the ready.
Penndot says many drivers have already been working for hours, pulling 12-hour shifts salting roads and highways for when the icy weather hits.
For most it won't look like snow, but the snowblowers were front and center at Home Depot.
It's the icy conditions and freezing rain just in time for rush hour that has most concerned.
But with a record-breaking warm winter, so far, the first winter blast of the season maybe the last for 2015.
