Jurors In Kathryn Knott Trial Speak Out

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  Kathryn Knott had no comment as she scurried by a gaggle of reporters outside of the courthouse in Center City.

Jurors however, were quick to comment on the evidence that lead them to a guilty verdict in Knott's case.

After three days of deliberation, jurors found Kathryn Knott guilty of recklessly endangering a gay couple, and conspiracy tied to the simple assault of one of the men.

The verdict stems from a violent encounter on a Center City street in September.

Prosecutors argued that Knott and two male friends, used homophobic slurs to spark the violence against the two victims.

Jurors seemed to grapple with the charges finding the 25-year-old Knott not guilty of the felony aggravated assault charges.

Surveillance video played a huge role in this case as well as Knott's Twitter history.

Some tweets were laced with profanity like this one posted long before the crime.

Prosecutors showed it to the jury, saying it helped to prove that Knott didn't agree with homosexuality.

Knott's attorney used her gay cousin as a witness- countering any claims that his client was homophobic.

In the end jurors had heard and seen enough to convict on the lesser charges.
