Sixers Say Report On Ownership Flipping Team Is 'Inaccurate'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers have denied the Forbes report on the team's ownership group.

The report, released on Thursday, stated that Sixers owners Joshua Harris and David Blitzer hope to "flip" the team. Furthermore, a source indicated to Forbes.com the "No. 1 goal" of Harris and Blitzer is to own the first NFL team in London.

"Those [reports] are inaccurate and not true," Sixers spokesman Mike Preston said. "Josh has said in early October that he intends to be involved in the Sixers for many, many years to come. That has not changed."
