Two Rescued After Car Plunges Into River In South Jersey

COLLINGSWOOD, N.J. (CBS) -- Crews rescued two people from a car that rolled into the river overnight in Camden County, New Jersey.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday in Collingswood.

Police say two people were trapped inside the car after the driver lost control of the vehicle and it plunged into the Cooper River.

Rescue crews were able to free the pair who sustained only minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
