Eagles Know They'll Have Their Hands Full With Brady And Pats

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The New England Patriots are 10-1, and they're angry.

The one loss for New England came last Sunday night in Denver, and the Patriots rarely lose twice in a row. Awaiting the Patriots Saturday will be the struggling Eagles, who have lost three in a row and have been blown out by a combined 59 points in their last two games. A trip to Foxboro isn't exactly the best remedy for a struggling team, but Running Back DeMarco Murray says he and his teammates are prepared to take their best shot at the Pats.

"They're a well-coached team," said Murray. "Those guys have a lot of pride, and I'm sure they'll be juiced and ready to play coming off their last game. So will we."

New England has been hit hard by injuries on offense. Tight End Rob Gronkowski was the latest Patriot to go down, as he suffered a knee injury on Sunday Night. However, Chip Kelly believes one player on the Patriots who isn't injured is the biggest reason why he expects the best from his opponent on Sunday.

"Did they lose Brady?," Quipped Kelly. "That, I think, would really, truly affect them. I think it really just speaks to how good of a football player Tom is and the fact that they have had a lot of moving pieces around him. For them, it's that next-man-up mentality."

Tom Brady continues to frustrate opposing defenses despite dealing with a depleted set of skill players, but a banged-up offensive line has forced the future Hall-of-Famer to take more hits in recent weeks. Linebacker Brandon Graham knows he and his teammates must get to Brady if they have any chance of pulling the upset on Sunday.

"I think he stays in there and takes the hit well," said Graham. "He's not afraid of big hits. I think he's tough, and we just have to make sure we attack his throwing arm."

Few are giving the Eagles a chance on Sunday. Many believe the angry Pats will take apart Chip Kelly's struggling squad. Yet, the schedule says the Eagles have a game to play, and Graham is hoping Sunday could be the beginning of a turnaround.

"We're not defeated," Graham said. "For me, I just go out there happy. I know we have five more opportunities to show what we can do, and this is the first week of it. We've got to have it."
