Police: Persons Of Interest Sought In Hunting Park Deadly Assault

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia Police are seeking the public's help as they investigate an October assault that they say left one person dead.

Police say it happened at about 2:55 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, outside of a nightclub located on the 4500 block of North 5th Street.

According to police, two people were beaten and kicked about the head and face after leaving the club allegedly by several other males who had also been inside of the club. Police say one victim, a 22-year-old male, later succumbed to the injuries that he sustained during the assault.

Police say they are looking to identify two individuals depicted in this video, described by authorities as persons of interest.

According to police, both individuals are described as Latino males who appear to be in their early to mid-20s, who police say were inside of the club and left prior to the victims leaving.  Police say they are considered armed and dangerous.

The City of Philadelphia is offering a reward of $20,000 leading to an arrest and conviction for this incident.
